About the Collection Elvis Memorabilia Collection Elvis Presley Expert Authority Russ Howe The King's Ransom Museum | Personal Treasures of Elvis Presley

Elvis Aron Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, is the single most popular entertainment icon in the world.

With new recordings still being released on a regular basis, as well as Elvis references and music appearing in some of Hollywood's biggest films, it is evident that the Elvis phenomenon will go on indefinitely.

A new generation has embraced his music, re-mixed it and made it their own. People of all ages are drawn to his Graceland home, longing to get a peek inside the man behind the image, by seeing the clothes he wore, the cars he drove, and the items he owned.

Russ Howe and Bud Glass have now made available to fans around the world, the ultimate Elvis exhibition: THE KING'S RANSOM MUSEUM - an up-close and personal exhibit of 100% authentic Elvis-owned items. This impressive multi-million dollar museum is one of the largest privately owned collections of actual Elvis treasures outside Graceland.

Russ Howe has been collecting Elvis Presley photos and memorabilia for over 30 years. He is widely considered THE most sought-after authority, when it comes to photographs of the King, with his photos of Elvis appearing in countless Books, Magazines, Film Documentaries, and TV Shows.

Over the last several years, Russ' collection and expertise have enhanced such productions as 200 Cadillac's, Elvis and June, Adrenaline, and Bud Glass' Behind The Image Vols. I and II, and TV Shows such as Larry King Live, and VH1's Behind The Music, and Driven, the Lisa Marie Presley biography.

Recent book publications that have featured Russ Howe's photos are Joe Tunzi's Elvis Sessions III, and Beatles '65, as well as Behind The Image and Born To Rock, by Bud Glass, and Russ' own Rock 'N Nassau.

Russ is also a regular contributor to a wide variety of Elvis magazines and fan publications around the globe. In 2003, Russ decided to take his collection to cyberspace and share it with the world, with the launching of the very popular website www.kingcandids.com.

The near future promises to be a busy time for Russ Howe as well, with the up-coming release of a new photo book with Bud Glass and, of course, The King's Ransom, with partner Bud Glass. The Museum has toured the globe and is appearing now in the heart of the Las Vegas strip, at the Sahara Hotel and Casino. Needless to say, photos from the collection of Russ Howe as well as some others, are the key element that bring life to the museum. As the brilliant photos illustrate how the artifacts were used and worn by Elvis over the years, the items live and breathe again in the mind's eye of the museum guests, leaving them with an experience they will not soon forget.
